Email is still the main application on the Internet and almost everyone uses it both privately, and for business.

It is so incredibly popular that almost everyone is assumed to be proficient in its use. Although it is not difficult to use it is by no means so easy that anyone can grasp it in an instant.

For example do you know the distinction between cc (carbon copy) and bcc(blind carbon copy)? Do you know how to access your email when you're away from your computer?

If you do than you are not alone, but you're also not part of the majority.

You see most people first encounter email in a work environment with email already set up and configured all they really need to do is to send and receive emails.

Originally the site was focused on Microsoft Outlook Express and IncrediMail as they are two of the most popular email clients used by home and small business users.

However there are many small businesses and home users using Gmail, hotmail and yahoo email and so I have included these clients as well.

IncrediMail (Premium and Xe) Updates and Upgrades

IncrediMail is a free email application which provides most of the functionality of Outlook express email but is more modern; offering skins, notifiers, animations, ecards, smileys, emoticons, letters and stationary as standard- see Outlook Express and IncrediMail compared for a quick review of IncrediMail email features.

IncrediMail is available in two versions IncrediMail Xe and IncrediMail Premium- see IncrediMail Xe and IncrediMail Premium for a feature review and comparison. 

Important Note: If you are using the Incredimail junk email filter and are running build 2031 (August 03 2005) or below, then be aware that if you upgrade to a version higher (any release after August 3 2005) then you will loose the junk email feature. Starting from build 2068 (August 22 2005) this became a subscription only option.
